I am leaving for school today... for the last time. I can't believe I will be a senior (!!!) and enter the "real world" in only one short year. Not to mention I cannot believe how fast this summer flew by! I always feel a little bitter/sweet leaving for school. Leaving home is never easy, but I am so excited to see my friends!!
As I look back and reflect on the past three years of college, I can' t help but think of how quickly these years have vanished. I remember (so vividly!) driving down to school my freshmen year. I was scared out of my mind, but excited. Unsure, but ready to explore. Homesick, but ready to fly out of the nest. Not knowing how these years would mean to me. How I would feel.
And within the blink of an eye, the uncertainty has dwindled. I have made friends. And lost some. Succeeded and failed. Had stressful moments (several), and fun ones (that I still laugh about). Three years are written in the books. Done. But I still have one chapter left. I hope this year makes one hell of a chapter. College has not been the easiest years of my life. A lot of growing up. But I have learned a lot. A whole lot. And I am ready to learn some more, and make some mistakes.

The eight hour trek is not something I look forward to, to say the least. I love spending the time riding down with the momma and singing to the radio. I do have some items that make the trip a little more enjoyable. These are must haves that are 100% necessary for my road trips. PS: don't judge my Hot Fries obsession (ha!). Carolina here we come!
Can't live without my ice coffee are a must!
A blanky for snoozing // Yes, I know Hot Fries. It's my guilty pleasure. And they rock.
Watching this movie on the ride (eep!) // My phone. Duh.

I am hoping this long[est] ride will be enjoyable (pun intended!). Thank goodness for my wonderful momma, aka my chauffeur.
