Coffee
Many of us drink coffee. Let's be honest. This world can be tough on our bodies, and we need that extra oomph to get us through the day. I will be the very first to admit, I am a coffee addict. I love the taste. I love the warmth beneath my hands immediately after I leave the coziness of my covers. I love the heat hitting my lips gently, and trickling into my tummy. And, of course, I love the way it makes me feel. I am ready to take on the day, world.
Want another reason to drink coffee? Did you know coffee can be a great way segue to meeting your future hubby, your next friend, or even your next boss? Yup. We owe all of that to coffee... okay, not exactly all of it. But if coffee can help even the slightest on those crucial parts of our lives, than it must be worth drinking (ha!).

Meet for Coffee
In all seriousness, use coffee as a tool. You hear about it all the time. People meeting up for coffee. But the question is, are you? I feel like it's one of those things we tell our friends to do while in a funk. "Go meet with X and pick their brain about Y job". Why can't we seem to follow our own advice?
Meet someone for coffee. Your coworker. Your childhood friend you haven't talked to in ten years. Your brother you can't seem to get along with. Someone you've never met before. Whether it be for your career or a date. Go. For. It. Yes, I am talking to you.
The Power of Coffee
Going on that coffee date may seem intimidating (trust me, I know). So, get your feet wet first. A friend is a good place to start. We all get wrapped up in our busy lives, and it's only natural to disconnect with old friends. But you know what? It only takes a half-hour coffee date to check in. It's a no pressure atmosphere. It's coffee for goodness sake! It's not a weekend in Paris with them.
You will be surprised what coffee can do to your life. I challenge y'all to meet someone for coffee once a month. I think you'll be happy with who you connect with, who you'll meet, and what opportunities will arise. Just be yourself, and relax.
