How many times do we tell ourselves we aren't good enough? That we don't deserve that raise? Or we should have ran that mile wayyyy faster? Or if I just put the dishes away I could have avoided that fight with our significant other? Or we shouldn't have tumbled over trying that new yoga pose? Or didn't get a high enough GPA? The list of negative comments we tell ourselves daily has a direct impact on our mental health. Think about it.

So you didn't exactly nail that client presentation you spent weeks preparing for. Or you aren't in the shape you were at sixteen. Or you forgot it's your carpool day and the kids were sitting on the curb for twenty minutes. We are all human. We make mistakes. And that's okay.
If you are doing the best you can. If you can honestly believe that you gave it your all. What the hell more can you ask for? Nothing. You can't ask for anything more. The truth is.... shit happens. Life is messy. Give yourself a break. Be gentle with yourself. You are doing just fine.
